I found on Icelandic newspaper that Larus Gudmundsson played for Middlesbrough in 1981-82 (arrived in November). Any corfirm, please?

No record of him playing league football for any English club. May have had pre season trials at Middlesborough.

I think the article says: he played a match with Middlesbrough reserves against Chesterfield and went home. So it was probably a trial, he was never signed.
