Israel ELSNER (GK) nicknamed "Shavi" played one match for Palestina (Isreal) in a worldcup qualifier in Feb. 1938 vs Greece.
Born in Poland he played for US Tunisienne (1930-31), SO XXe Paris, Amiens AC (as professional) 1933-34.

Does anybody know more about his career, his other clubs andhis date of birth?

While he played his only game he was at Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
The game took part at 20.2.1938 so I guess the season was 1937/1938, Tel Aviv played at Liga A.

He immigrated to Israel after coming to the second Maccabiah in Israel at 2-10 April 1935 with the polish team.

He Changed his family name to Elzohar. In official documents of the Israeli FA he his named "Israel Elsner-Elzohar".
