He is on trial with Greek 1st division club Aris Thessaloniki. He will go to France to play in friendly games with Aris and then it will be decided if he will sign a contract.

A number of sites, including the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 532931.stm) report that he signed with Metallurg Donetsk in Ukraine - can anyone confirm this?

Also, hard to believe his other brother - Etienne Eto'o - isn't in the DB...can someone provide info?

It is said he was taken to Metalurg for 6 months but I also believe its wrong since he wasn`t listed in their 2006 squad at all

and he wasnt in team before season...and he wasnt on photo of team before start of season too). No info about him in news at the official site of club.

Greek sports newspapers wrote Eto'o was with Metallurg Donetsk last year without any indication whether he had a contract or not.

I'm reading that he's currently on a trial in Tunisia for Esperance Tunis, we'll see if they sign him.
