Mario Ljubic

I am trying to find more info on [url="http://playerhistory.com/Default.aspx?page=player_details&playerID=150978"]Mario Ljubic[/url].

He is listed in PH as an apprentice for the current season. However, http://www.eufo.de lists him as born on 15.11.1980 so I doubt he is an apprentice. Same place says he has played for HNK Sibenik in Croatia. Following this trail, I found him there for seasons 02-03, 01-02 and possibly 00-01. How about the missing years between 2003 and 2007?

I am interested in this guy since I have a Mario Ljubic last season in FC Sankt Veit in Austria (Kärntner Liga, 4th level). Is it possible that this is the same person?

Using the wayback machine on the St Veit website I find Mario Ljubic born 1985. Signed from their own youth.

The current Sibenik player seems to be born 15-11-81

I will create the Austrian Ljubic. Do you think 1980 or 81 is the DB of the Croatian (eufo.de is my source but I know they copy club websites so they are accurate more often than not)?

It doesn't work on sites protected by robots. And a lot isn't archived.

Don't know where eufo.de found 1980 I can only find 1981 in other sources

Yeah, it's a great tool. It should work nicely for small-side clubs who do not protect their sites but also do not maintain an archive. Thanks once again, it's a good researcher's tool!
