thanks, yes also i have seen his name mentioned like Olexader and Alexander .. Granovsky or Granovski therefore wiht rather ask wheres truth ..

In the former USSR the Russian language was used and players for instance with forenames as Alexandr Aleksandar Aleksandr, Aleksei.
Now in Ukraine they use their own language and Alexandr became Olexandr or Aleksei became Oleksei. See the case Aleksei Mikhailichenko. Now Oleksei. Another example in the former USSR is the Ukrain club Shakhtyor Donetzk who is now Shakhtar Donetsk.
