No evidence on the Real Sociedad web-site that he played for either them or Sanse (their B side) in the league during the period 1952/1955.

Keith, your research about Real Sociedad or Sanse was wrong. The club is Sants, a small club in the area of Barcelona (Sants is a neighbourhood of Barcelona)

Here it is:

So yes, he didn´t played for Sanse, and if he played in Spain, he played Sants

These stats should be hard to find, because Sants played at 3rd division that time (I´m adding those divisions now):

1952-53 3rd Division Group III
1953-54 3rd Division Group III
1954-55 3rd Division Group VII
