The first and the last are brothers, hartinfact die Brima in '99.

It's about an investigation of the Belgian parliament about the trade in (underage) African and Brazilian footballers. Musa Kanu was heard as a witness.

It's a long story I'm not gonna translate everything.

Some of the 'high'lights:

Of the transferfee (74368 euro) 20% was supposed to go to the former club (they got nothing) and 30% to the player (he got 793,26 euro)

He earned 1239,47 euro/month when he played for Lokeren. The minimum wage for players like him is almost twice as much.

He refused to sign for St. Niklaas in 1998 when his contract ended, because he thought he wasn't paid enough. As a result he had to leave his appartment and lived from unemployment benefit for many years, because he couldn't find a club. Hoek is an amateurclub, but it's likely they pay at least some of their players.

When his brother died in early 1999 (of embolism, when he was undergoing a knee operation) Lokeren refused him 2 tickets home to return the body to Sierra Leone, in order to force him to sign the contract with St Niklaas. Lokeren still owed him a few tickets. He didn't use them before because of the war in his country.

He had to wait 8 years not the usual 5 years to get a permanent visum because Lokeren had written 'not a permanent resident' on his contract (He'obviously didn't know about the consequences)

When his contract with Lokeren ended he 'suddenly' had tax debts
