Srdjan Djekanovic

I have infos saying this guy has played a couple of seasons in Serbia for clubs like:
FK Zeleznicar Beograd, FK Radnicki Obrenovac, FK Zmaj Zemun, FK Zemun
Is this a mixup with another player? Anyhow he must have played for some clubs before 2005.

Didn't find him at Zemun for 00-01. At least no appearances

FM stats are (usually) ok.
Even if he was 14 its not unthinkable he might have been in the squad even as sub. With respect to Toronto Olympians I doubt they play at that high a level, and he must have showed some promise to get a move to a decent Yugoslavian club as a teenager.
According to the db, all Zemun's league games are covered by the goalies Topalovic, Adamovic and Ristovic between 2000 and 2003 so if Djekanovic was there then his stats are 0/0.
Perhaps in future we could try to be less dismissive when people take the time to help us.

They are Ok for major countries like England, Germany etc. I wouldn't trust FM for Balkan countries. Nor would I trust it for South America. Good starting point, yes.

I think your right, FM stats should not be taken as perfect. Although to be fair the Sports Interactive guys have been doing what we do for many more years and with a much larger team of researchers than we have.
Of course contributors are free to "trust" whichever sources or other contributors they like...

It's not that their researchers are bad or good, but the fact that until recently they didn't have a really unified policy of counting only league games. Russian stats in FM for instance include Cup games. South American stats include everyhting (including Libertadores). I've seen stats including even friendlies. So, be careful
