He is reported here to have played 2 seasons in Mexico, 94/95 for Necaxa and 95/96 for América.
That second one is surely wrong, Cerezo was at América of Belo Horizonte, in Brazil (1996 championship).
More doubtful the year at Necaxa. These are the foreign players I have for Necaxa 94/95:
Alex Aguinaga (Ecuador) 34 6
Ivo Basay (Chile) 33 15
Eduardo Vilches (Chile) 32 0
Sergio Zarate (Argentina) 17 4 (until January)
