Interesting. In Hardy Grüne's "Spielerlexikon 1890-1963" I found that he went with Horst Buhtz to Torino. But it seems you can not believe everything.
I found that Spikofski was later coach of FC Sion (1961-March 1963) and BC Augsburg (1963/64).

Had to have gone to Sion after May 1961 because I saw him play for Wormatia Worms in London that month
