He is a French player, young in his early 20's, playing as defender or defensive midfielder.
He came to Romania in winter, he was on trial at FC Municipal Campina, but failed. Instead Astra Ploiesti bought him and offered him a 3 months contract (until end of 06-07 season)
I can't seem to find any info on him.
His first name could be Youssuf or any other variation on this form (one s, double ss, etc). I don't know if he is Kante sau Kanté. The Romanian papaers don't count too much on the proper spelling.
He has no relation to a similar Y. Kanté from Mali.

Any help would be appreciated.

this Kante also played the first half of 2006/07 with FC Windisch. He seems to be a forward, but no further info, sorry

Yes...It could be him. Since I couldn't find a picture with him at Windisch

Yes. I have the final confirmation. I've spoken with a staff member from Dinamo II. He is the one named by "Infamous".
