Hello,
it was always said that when Rigobert Song (http://rsssf.com/miscellaneous/rsong-intl.html) reached the milestone of 100 caps that he was the first Sub-Saharan African player to do so. In our database the Cameroonian goalie Thomas N'Kono (http://playerhistory.com/Default.aspx?page=player_details&playerID=23489) has 112 caps. I know stats for Africa are always difficult to obtain but maybe someone has (more) reliable stats about N'Kono's internationals.
By the way: Does anyone know how many, if any, matches he played for Espanyol in the 1989/90 season?
Thanks a lot, Matthias
