Did he only play for the 2nd team between 1991 and 1998?

Difficult case

1994-96 Wattenscheid 09 Amateure (Regionalliga West/Südwest)
1996-98 Wattenscheid 09 II (Oberliga Westfalen)
1998/99 Wattenscheid 09 (2. Bundesliga)
1999- Wattenscheid 09 (Regionalliga)

1991-94 I would guess 2nd Amateur team of Wattenscheid 09

Sorry, I wrote wrong.. I meant:

Did he only play for the 2nd team between 1991 and 1998? (not 1992)

I have a hard time believing that a player plays on the 2nd time only up until the age of 27 and then starts playing regular for the 1st team..

It may be hard to believe, but indeed that is the case. And Katriniok is definitely not the first player in Germany with a career like this.

I think the career is not too strange, if you look at the leagues/levels he played:
1 year 2. Bundesliga (1998/99, I guess he was still amateur), 8 years Regionalliga (1994-96, 1999-04, 2005-06) and 5 years Oberliga (1996-98, 2004-05, 2006-08)

Ok, I guess I'll have to accept this ;)

I also saw that the 2nd team played for Regionalliga West-Südwest in 95/96 and the next season the 1st-team played in that league..

I have stats saying he played one game for the 2nd team again in 03/04
