Gustavo Graffinha Banhoffer (Yuri/Uri Banhoffer)
14.01.1948

Anyone has some more info on this guy?
Before LA Aztecs, some sources say he played for Defensor, San Luis (1968-71), San Felipe (1971), Pachuca, Atletico Espanol, Union Espanola, Aviacion, Santiago Morning.
After his time at PEC Zwolle, he left for Chile and played for Santiago Morning, San Luis and Iberia.
Can someone check this or has some more detailed info?
Thanks in advance!

His surname should be Graffigna, as he was known in Mexico. It looks like the first name is in fact Uruguay, from which the nick "Uri". Played for Unión San Felipe in 1972, then Mexico: Pachuca the entire season 1972/73, 11 goals scored, later a few months for Atlético Español (until december 1973 I suppose), no goals scored.

Thanks a lot Alessandro.

About his nick:
He was named Uri during his time in the US, but when he came to Zwolle, they renamed him to Yuri, as the name 'Uri' sounded too 'German'.
German names where a very sensitive issue during those days in Holland.
