Hello,

in our PH database Stéphane Chapuisat (http://playerhistory.com/Default.aspx?page=player_details&playerID=12829#pcd0) is listed with 33 apps and 5 goals for Lausanne-Sports in the 1988/89 seaon.
Is it possible that only 21 games (1 goal) were played from him in the Nationalliga A (qualifying phase) (http://www.national-football-teams.com/v2/player.php?id=6572) and 12 games (4 goals) were played in the NL A+B Promotion (http://rsssf.com/tablesz/zwit89.html) where Lausanne avoided the drop?

Cheers and thanks for your input in advance, Matthias

It's a pity that the Swiss football is documented not so well in the 1980s - at least in this case.

Cheers, Matthias

You can research this area for yourself :)

I posted a link to the Gazzetta Ticinese archive (http://www.sbt.ti.ch/quotidiani-public/) on this forum, an Italian language Swiss newspaper that included lineups for all LNA matches since 1978 or thereabouts.
