Hello, I am searching for some further information about the decent of former APOEL Nicosia player Willy Nwakanma or Nwakama: http://www.playerhistory.com/Default.as ... rID=151049 . Weltfussball.de and playerhistory both state him to be from Cyprus, but his name makes it very hard to believe. He seem to have African roots, the name sounds typically Nigerian. Is there anybody who can please help with some concrete facts?

According the European Football Yearbooks he is Cypriot.

Nwakama is indeed a Nigerian name so I would suggest that he was born in Nigeria, but I have no concrete info to state this
