In the line-up of Cameroon in a friendly vs Luxemburg on 31-5-1998 there is a player Jean-Jacques Noudjeu. I can't find anything reliable about him.

Is there anyone who knows this player ?

line up : Boukar Alioum (William Andem 46'), Joseph Elanga, Raymond Kalla,
Jean-Jacques Noudjeu (Joseph Ndo 46'), Rigobert Song (Serge Kwetche 78'),
Jean-Jacques Etamé (Didier Angibeaud 46'), Marcel Mahouvé, Romarin Billong, Samuel Ipoua (Alphonse Tchami 46'), Samuel Eto'o (Joseph-Désiré Job 46'), François Omam Biyik.

Thanks in advance.

He seems to have been included in Cameroon's wide squad for WC 1998, while playing for Bastia. The problem is, Bastia didn't have any Cameroonian players in its first team in 1997/98.

Don't know if the name spelling is right, though.

Could it be Jean-Jacques Etamé of Bastia ? He was in the WC Squad of 1998 and also a player of SC Bastia.

Hi Silvermane,

The link contains some errors. If it's published by a wellknown pressgroup then I have my doubts :

1. William Andem (Boavista Porto) instead of Salvador.
2. Alioum Boukar (Samsunspor) instead of Vanspor.
3. Alioum Saïdou instead of Seidou
4. Pierre Beaka Njanka instead of Djaka
5. Lauren Etamé-Mayer instead of Laurent Etang
6. Didier Angibeaud = Angibeaud Nguidjol
7. Jean-Jacques Noudjeu doubtfull

Well, I daresay that the accuracy of a Malaysian newspaper reporting on Cameroonian matters is close to zero, but that's what Google came up with when I fed the player's name to it (there was also a Chinese site, but I think we can pass it over). As suggested above, it could be another Cameroonian playing for Bastia or another guy with the same last name.
