According to Heroes in Hoops (ISBN: 1874427844) he played for Ikast in 1980 but
no exact date ... they don't even mention a month.

Don't have stats on him either for that Danish team (what level did Ikast play at?)

In that same book they state that he played for Crystal Palace in 1981 and for Feltham
somewhere in 1982. He also played for that last team before he joined QPR.
No mention of Charlton Athletic though.

Thanks, I added Crystal Palace, Charlton was a loan in February it's in Rothmans. Ikast played in the first division in 1980 (and 1981)

In a danish 1982 pre-season newspaper i have:

" Nye spillere: Andy Pope fra h.h.v. Charlton og Queens Park Rangers midt i saesonen 1981"
Does it mean he arrived in summer 1981 ?

He didn't appear in a 1981 danish pre-season newspaper.

Translated to english:
" Nye spillere: Andy Pope fra h.h.v. Charlton og Queens Park Rangers midt i saesonen 1981"
