Hello, I'm searching for the birthdates of several players, who played for their club in the qualifying round of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup 98/99. I hope somebody can help me:
Abraham Abrahamyan (Tsement Ararat, ARM) - I did not find anything about this player in the internet, so I even doubt his existance but Romeo Ionescu's "The Complete Results/Lineups of the European Cup Winners' Cup 60-99" says, that he entered the second match against Lausanne as substitude for Romeo Jenebyan.
Varuzhan Sukiasyan (Coach of Tsement and later the Armenian National Team)
Vasile Apachitei (Constructorul-93 Chisinau)
Vladimir Dovghii (Constructorul-93 Chisinau)
Alexandru Scrupschi (or Skrupski) (Constructorul-93 Chisinau, former Sub21-International of Moldova)
Dumitru Tricolici (Constructorul-93)
Valeri Rotari (Coach of Constructorul-93)
Dmytro Korenev (CSKA Kiev; same problem with him as with Abrahamyan)
Paulo (Paolo?) da Silva Edmilson (Apollon Limassol)
Erkan Erdogan (FC Vaduz)
Markus Weber (FC Vaduz, later Coach of this team, I'm also searching for his Nationality)

First of all you ask PLEASE.
Another thing is that this is probaly hard to find.
What are you giving back to those who help you?

OK, sorry but I really did not want do be unkind. So can please somebody help me?

As you can see I am new in this forum, so I could not help anyone so far. Of course I will do so, if I see a question, I can answer to. But what should I do else? I´m working on a database of players who played in European Cup Winners Cup, and so I've spended many hours to get all Informations, I can find in the internet (believe it or not). I decided to ask for some of the players (that are really difficult to find, as you said) in this forum, because I know that here are many experts working, who know much more about european football than me. But does this fact mean, that nobody wants to help me? Only because my knowledge is not as big as their knowledge is?
I can understand well that you want to see engagement of every user, but if I look at your database, I see that there are only very few, very special countries which are not detaily documented. I am from Germany and so I have much data about football here, but football statistics in this country are generally well documented and so it is not very difficult to find them and so I guess you have all relevant data on the major leagues and tournaments here.
I thought a forum like this should give help to people who are really interested in football, and is not only a kind of "trading market" (don't know a better word) for information, but maybe I was wrong. That's a pity.
