You mean the remaining 18 players who didn't fit, for each participating country?

If you tell me the deadline for submitting the "40" squad, I can make a list for Poland.

Yes, I only knew the Poland squad list with 24 players announced in April 21,1986 including Waldemar Prusik(MF,27/07/1961,Slask wroclaw),and Krzystof Baran(FW,26/07/1960,LKS Lodz)who missed out on final.

I think that rule of a preliminary list of 40 players was not valid anymore in 1986.

In Germany I am pretty sure that there was no such list. So there is only the squad called up for preparation.

In Germany I doubt that Stefan Reuter was in there, he would have been pretty young. Instead I have an additional goalkeeper
Werner Vollack (dob 24.3.55) from VfL Bochum.

There were no squads of 40 preselected players anymore in 1986. In 1982 was the last time when countries had to make a list of 40 players in April 1982. Some countries never published the "40" in Newspapers because some clubs protested because players asked better salary.

B.T.W. Reuter was not in preselection WC1986.

I agree - in 1986 FIFA had scrapped the old system by which squads of 40 players had to be named a month in advance of the final deadline date for the final squad of 22.
