Hello all together,
As I found in the database and also in his Wikipedia-article, Portos defender Pedro Emanuel dos Santos Martins Silva is of Angolan origin, but was not allowed to play for the national team because of his matches for Portugal on junior level. But now I found this lineup of an international friendly of Angola against Marocco in 2004:

Is there a mistake in the lineup, or is Pedro Emanuel really a full Angolan international?

Thanks for any help!

I find the substitute for the Morocco v Angola friendly international to be Paulo dos Santos - see http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~nfm24/football/2004af.html.

This might relate to Pedro Emanuel dos Santos Martins Silva or it might be another player. I have to say that all the sources I have seen indicate that Pedro Emanuel has NOT played a full International for Angola.

Hi

As far as I know Pedro Emanuel never played for Angola.

He had asked permission to do it , but as he had a bundle
of matches played for Portuguese young classes , the permission
was refused by FIFA.
Bye

Ok, thank you both. As I guessed, it's very unlikely that he played for Angola.
