I found a player in Swedish Division II Norra 1985 (Falu BS) named Alireza Ghasghaian. Is possible that he was Ali Reza Ghesghayan Iranian player in World Cup 1978?

Do you have the birthday of that player in Sweden?
The birthday from the player in the Iran World Cup-squad 1978 was 27 february 1954 and he played in defence.
If they have the same birthday your problem is solved.

I think that they are the same person, but I'm not sure.

I also found that that player played for another Swedish team in 1986 (Tröllhattans FK)
