Andrew Rabutla

According my info he had a spell in PAOK Saloniki during the season 1997-98 and returned to Jomo Cosmos around april 1998.

I do not find him back in the European Yearbooks and even not in season 98-99. I think the info in the database is wrong. Also Wikipedia and National Football teams are wrong.

Season 98/99 he played for Jomo Cosmos (SAF).

I agree - certainly no 21/1 in 1998/1999 for PAOK and if there during 97/98 it would be 0/0

Andrew Rabutla was with PAOK first part of season 1997/98. He only appeared in one official game for PAOK, that was the UEFA Cup game at 12 August 1997 against Sparta Trnava.

Later in August 1997 he went back to his country for the international game South Africa vs Congo but in the last training session before the game he got injured (damaged cruciate ligaments) so he did not play any league games for PAOK and later in December 1997 his contract was terminated.
Doctor's estimate was that he would not be able to play for around 8 months, i.e. until April 1998.

I think Rabutla still holds the record for being the only foreign player in Greece that has appeared for a European Cup game but not in the League.

Thanks Keith and Koeman. The problem is solved now. He played in January and February some matches for the National team but was not selected for the South-Africa Squad World Cup 1998.

Could someone correct the stats in the database please.
