Hello, I have a little question concerning Austrian-Ghanaian player Charles Wittl: national-football-teams.com sais that he was nominated for Ghana national team in 1995. Does anybody know if he made any cap for the Black Stars?

Thanks for any help.

Well, thank you both so far. In general I do not expect transfermarkt.de to be relieable in this case. They often mix up international matches on junior and senior level and include information without checking relieability. But the "Blick" from that time make me believe that it is at least probable that he was capped for Ghana.

By the way: can anybody tell me something abouth the quality of the "INTERNATIONAL MATCHES PROJECT" (www.cantab.net/users/nfm24/football). Is it worth to order a password or does it include the same infos as I can find on rsssf.com for example?

Hi,

I correct info for Mr. Morisson.

It would be interesting if you ask a pasword because some countries in RSSSF are not updated.
Some guys are very angry because someone copied files and put the same info (without checking) in his books.

A small off topic here: I've been following Transfermarkt for almost 2 years now and it has been getting better in the last months as they started including line ups for the past few seasons. But I do agree that they still mess up the junior levels. And probably Wittl's case is too old for them to be accurate; I just included it as further argument that he was capped.

Cheers, mate! :)

Thank you for this. In deed tm.de has become better in the recent moths. I am curious how it will go on.

What I am mainly searching for are additional lineups from Africa and sometimes Asia. There are many vacancies on the rsssf-site, because sources are very rare. Would it be helpfull in this case?

Has www.rsssf.com been bought by Infostrada? The site seems to run on one of their servers.
