Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone knows why there was no a Yugoslavian representative in the Cup Winners' Cup competition (season 1990-1991)...
Thanks in advance

Hajduk Split qualified as loosing cupfinalist. But they were banned from playing in European competitions after the teargas incident in the match against Olympique Marseille in 1987. Cup Winner Crvena Zvezda played EC 1, and as far as I know semi-finalists are not accepted by the UEFA
They were also banned for playing in the UEFA cup in 1989-90. They didn't qualify for the 1988-89 season.
The ban was lifted end of July 1990 , to late to enter the 1990-91 competition
