I ordered the book and I will recieve next week.

Do you have the complete collection ?

There are unfortunately no issues of 89/90 + 90/91 because of the death of the publisher. There is no issue of 2004/05 because Sports Projects stopped.

Hi

I didn't see it but Mike Hammond said me last week that the books ( I always
receive two ... ) were dispatched by mail , but I haven't received them yet.
Yes the first book was edited by the Facer Books from Exeter and is/was
really a precisiosity ! Brings colour pictures of a bundle of teams I think it
was in many item the best of them all. But John Facer died in a car accident
and since then the book has walked from here to there .
In 2004 Bernard Gallagher (Sports Project ) made a dirty move that avoid the
book to be published as all the data was joined and treated to be published
I think that now Uefa took the project in hands the book will be published every
year.
By the way I have been since 1988 the guy that has in charge te Portuguese
section

Bye

I don't have mine yet. Probaby not going to buy it new from any of the
soccer book shops i use regularly. Just gone take my chance on eBay
like i did last year where i pick one up brand new for a little over 16£
instead of 25£

Don't have the complete collection myself, but i have a very close
source who has'em all.

BTW older editions do appear on eBay from time to time.

I agree with Humberto, i think the 1988/89 book was the best, with colour team photos of most of Europe's clubs. my copy is not in very good condition nowdays :-(

I would like to see the book go back to the old set up with 1 page per club with the address and honours on the same page as results and appearances but then maybe we would be looking at 2000 pages.

what happened in 2004 with Bernard Gallagher?

That's why we plan with PH to create the same...
Beginning with 1981-82

Including player's biographies - ideally Team pictures

For the moment we are missing data on the following countries in Europe

Albania
Bulgaria (complete stats missing)
Cyprus
Eire
Irland
Luxemburg
Malta
Romania
Turkey

Any help is welcome

Probably our next project should be
1988-89 and 1989-90 season if 1981-82 is relaible and well received

Does Ireland means Northern Ireland? Otherwise why Eire and Ireland?

I think that after a controversial divorcee we went with Sports
Projects to the bankrupcy

Mainly as far as I could understand is that in 2004 he always
gave the impression that the things were normal and just 15
days a far from the book went to be printed he told Mike that
there were no money left to the project

Things of life !

Ciao
