Nat Lofthouse, known as 'The Lion of Vienna' for his display for England v Austria in 1952, died peacefully in his bed on Sunday evening (15.01.2011) age 85. He was a star centre forward for England during the 1950's when he scored 30 goals in 33 full internationals.
