World Cup 2006 Qualifiers

As you are aware I am trying to add all of the WC 2006 CAF qualifiers (players and match stats) and others are contributing to other regions. Have just discovered that the FIFA web-site (source of much of my information) seems to have removed the line-ups for these games. When you try to view these details you are referred to a statement that they are setting up a new World Cup section that will not be available until June 2007. I have contacted FIFA to-day and await their reply. Can anyone suggest any alternaive source for the CAF match line-ups at least please. RSSSF only has a few match details.

for the time being you can still search their old website in google

type site:fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en tunisia botswana and you should be able to find the match between tunisia and botswana. You need to click Cached though. If you do this now, I'm pretty sure you will be able to find most lineups, save them to a text file or something

Click Cached instead. I don't know, I checked this morning and i got both Tunisia-Botswana matches without being redirected.

1) Mike - I've tried all manner of combinations but although you get to a type of serarch facility. Once you input a country or game you get re-directed.

2) football-2006 - I am currently about a third of the way through the CAF qualifiers, including preliminary round, so still have about 100 matches to go. I can get some of the details such as scores, goal-scorers & venue etc but it is the line-ups, subs and bookings that are the problem.
