He is the brother of Adrian Ilie and also a hack of a wanderer. According to my math, he changed about 20 teams during his career.
Now he left Romania since the mid of March, his last club being Dunarea Giurgiu and not Dunarea Galati as it is written in his profile on here: http://www.playerhistory.com/Default.as ... yerID=9352 (I've sent a note to the owner to correct this error).
My problem is that he left Giurgiu for China (according to his statement) and he claimed that he wll play for a Chinese club until the end of the Chinese season.
He had a gentleman agreement with Giurgiu that he can go anywhere he wishes without any demands from the Romanian club, so he left without informing anyone where he is going.
None at club knows where he went in China. Can someone knows anything about his "supposed" move to China. Is he in China currently playing for some club or there aren't info on him of being in there?
I could use some light on his whereabouts at the moment...

I don't know his Chinese club. Do you know the date in which he broke his contract with Dunarea?

I saw the news yesterday. It looks like he signed for Qingdao Hailifeng. Can anyone provide an update on the signing date for him? and for how long he signed?

He signed with QINGDAO HAILIFENG till the end of this year for sure.And is not true that he left without informing anyone where he is going.they knew it about this,believe me.And if you want more informations about him,you can ask me.And you can look at http://www.libertatea.ro from 4 may 2008 and you will see an article about him.
