The man of the Hoffenheim photo definitley looks like James (http://www.fcc-supporters.org/wiki/Datei:Benjamin_James.jpg).

The kicker season preview issue for the 1997/98 season says on the hand that the Italian club was the last one before CZ Jena but on the other gives Nigeria as source of the new signing.

I just read that in 95-99 Catania was playing in Serie C2 (4th level) so any stats will be hard to come by. Someone with extensive knowledge of Italian lower levels is needed
