"Juary" Jorge dos Santos Filho


Juary played season 1979/80 in Mexico

Different sources mention Universidad Guadalajara and other Universidad Autonoma Guadalajara (known as the Tecos). Tecos is also in the database. Because I have not many faith in the database concerning old South-American stats I would like to know which Mexican club he played for.

I became news from a RSSSF collegue and he confirmed me that Juary played for Leones Negros de la Universidad de Guadalajara. This means that he did not play for the Tecos of Universidad Autonoma Guadalajara. The database is wrong.

Sorry mate he never played for América Mexico. Practicly all sources on Internet are wrong. The only thing to become the correct answer is a local statistician who collect Mexican stats.

According to Guadalajara's newspaper El Informador, Juary played for Universidad de Guadalajara. That is sure. No infos on caps and goals

You are right Alessandro. Could someone correct the stats please in the website because he never played for Tecos which is another club in Guadalajara.
