In Grimsby Town a complete record I found he played some league games for Albion Rovers in 1971-72 at the age of 16. Can anybody confirm this?

On Neil Brown's site there is a Cummings 1971-72 Albion Rovers 2-0

Beats me but I've posted your question on the message boards for this kind of thing at scottishleague.net and 'pie and bovril' - if anyone with expert knowledge of 'the wee rovers' knows the answer I'll pass it on.

Baillieston are 'in abeyance' these days (I think Clydebank have taken their place in the Juniors?) so I doubt any player records or histories exist there.

Yes it is the same boy. They tell me that according to the recent update of Litster's CDROM player database, he spent one season at Rovers signing from Airdrie Academy, the intervening years were all spent at Ballieston.
