It seems he played for Kuopio in 1986-87. Anyone got his stats?

That looks like a mess.. did he really return to Finland every summer to play there?

Don't see why not, Finland has a spring-fall league. Same happens with some Mexican players who go play in the US then go back to Mexico for a new season

It happened a lot, a lot of English clubs sent young players on loan to northern Europe to get some experience.

Ok I understand but in Rigbys case it was very extreme.. didnt he ever rest? ;)

Quite a few British players did this.
I remember a few ex Wrexham players used to go over to Finland during the summer, Frank Jones and Seamus Heath to name two!

I've got a load of stats I need for some ex Wrexham players who played in Finland, will post them shortly.
