Heart of Midlothian's latest signing from Lithuania (shock horror). I think he may have spent 2006 in FK Atlantas' reserve side (going by their website), also I found a [url="http://www.vff.dk/site-box.cfm?SIID=1&COID=2822&MEID="]link[/url] which places him at Viborg FF's reserves in 2002.

Can anyone confirm?

We also need a place of birth and international recognition (if any). I gather his dad is manager of Atlantas and used to play.

Yes he were on a trial with Viborg during the summer of 2002 but he didnt get any contract with them. After Viborg he tried his luck in Randers Freja..

Perhaps at least Viborg should be added as trial in the db cause he played one game for the reserves..

He was born in Klaipeda, also my info says he's 191cm long.. not 181

His dads name is Vacys Lekevicius born in Vilnius in 25.6.63

Does 2006 Atlantas-2 go as Atlantas 0-0, or is it best to just write it in the notes?

Also, why on earth are they signing him if he can't get in the first team at a small Lithuanian Club where his dad is the manager? This seems weird even for Hearts.

Atlantas-2 played in Lithuanian second level (LFF I Liga), you can add his stats for Atlantas-2 if it's defined in DB
