Hi, in the stats of http://www.playerhistory.com the Portuguese national player Maniche has played in season 95/96 no match at all for Benfica but on the German website http://www.weltfussball.de stands that he made his debut 1995 for Benfica: http://www.weltfussball.de/spieler_profil.php?id=10110
In the text at the bottom of this page there stands the following in German: "Er stammt aus der Fußballschule von Benfica Lissabon und debütierte 1995 in der portugiesischen Liga." This just means that he made his first match for Benfica 1995. So what's correct now? Did he made a match 95/96 for Benfica or not? Thanks for answer.

He made his debut for Benfica against Lierse SK 12th September 1995 in the UEFA Cup. He also played in the return match. These are the only 2 official matches in the first team he played for them in 1995-96
