Hi

Does anyone know if the team that is playing in Slovakian
First Division MFK KOSice is the successor of 1FC KOSICE and VSS KOSICE
or a new Club ?

It was 1 FC Kosice for 2004/05 season, and cahnged it to MFK Kosice in for 2005/06 season.

After the 2003-04 season 1 FC. Kosice (relegated to level 3) was taken over by/ merged with Steel Trans Licartovce (level 2). Steel Trans Licartovce was renamed MFK Kosice after the 2004-05 season
